Cinnamon and Honey Banana Bread

Ingredients

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup honey

2 eggs

1 cup mashed bananas

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

*1/2 teaspoon cinnamon sprinkled on top (optional)


Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 165 degrees Celsius and grease your pan

  2. In a large bowl, whisk your oil and honey until fully combined. Add your eggs and beat well. Finally add in your mashed bananas and milk, then whisk.

  3. Add your cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, then whisk until all your ingredients are combined well. At this time you can add any additional ingredients, such as chocolate chips and nuts.

  4. Gradually stir in your flour with a large spoon or spatula

  5. Pour your batter into your greased pan and sprinkle an additional 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon on top of your batter

  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes and let the bread cool for at least 10 minutes before transferring your loaf to a cooling rack.
